The ribbon is made of hand dyed silk in tones of dusty blue. Lovely and soft. At the center of the the silk wrap is an old Turkoman brass button from the Middle East. On either side of the button are blue lampwork beads. These are accompanied by 4 old bells from India, they make a gentle jingle sound when moving... fantastic for belly dancing or yoga or just to wear on a warm summer day. The metal is very light weight and has lovely patina. They are old and quite aged which adds to their uniqueness and gives them a look of antiquity.
