What are you most proud of?
I used some of the ideas from the class for filling the white area.
I learned about the grid format to free hand quilt the orange peel border from the Oh Franson blog.
These big pillows are currently popular and with this cover really dress up an antique daybed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Check for measurements on your pillow.
The rectangles for the border are two and one half by five and one half. If you want them to line up with the row of squares, you need to cut them four and one half instead.
Also recheck the instructions for the back before you sew. I found folding the smaller panel on half as directed would make the back too small.
