I try to make things for my little shop that I wouldn't mind being stuck with if they don't sell. :D I take a lot of road trips and thought a quillow would be great for the car. To give you an idea of how big that logo is on the front of the quilt, I placed a quarter inside the bottom of the "B" for reference. It measures about 40-inches in diameter. I cut out full rings instead of piecing them as I had originally planned. I was able to make the smaller logos on the front and back of the bag, each measuring 12-inches, from the exterior scrap. I pieced the small rings so they were a bit more difficult. I still have some large circles to use on other projects. Most of my quilts use a lot of white fabric so I really wanted to do a black quilt. I'm going to start using more color in my backgrounds. I'm really glad I decided to use the blue and white stripes inside the handle instead of more black. I think it's a nice touch and love to Bavaria, where I was stationed for a few years.

How cool is that?! (Although I must admit we have other German cars in our household...)
