What materials did you use? Used yarns in my stash. Worsted weight acrylic "Simply Soft".

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of keeping a good selvage and making the stripes. I'm not a very "artistic" person as far as thinking up designs so it was a little scary because sometimes I can't make up my mind on colors. It was an awesome journey!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make your stripes in the warp and use one color for the weft. Plain weave is very interesting when you play with colors and textures.

This is a fabulous first project! I agree with you about designing in the warp and then being able to use one yarn for the weft. It makes for easy and relaxing weaving. Keep up the good work.
