What was your inspiration?
Wanted to make a smaller ruffle skirt, so I modified the pattern to fit my newborn. The headband is made without a pattern.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just go for it, it works up pretty quickly and easily. The patterns smallest size is 18 months, but you can easily modify it for a smaller size by chaining 8 (or 16, or 24) less and follow the pattern (with mods) from there.
