Instructions
This was my first attempt at designing a quilt using EQ7. I wanted to make a quilt for my 85 year old father who still lives and works on his farm. I found some blue rooster/chicken fabric which I used to create the appliques. Then designed a simple block pattern, added borders with more rooster fabric and FMQ using my domestic sewing machine.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My dad will always be an inspiration to me! I am a new quilter, just over 2 years, but knew my father would appreciate my attempt to make something just for him. I wanted something he could enjoy and use in his home.
What are you most proud of?
My dad's big smile and pride every time he shows off the quilt "my daughter made for me"! :)
