My own handspun silk and pima cotton 2-ply fingering weight yarn. purchased ribbon.
What was your inspiration?
I have wanted to make this cap for my niece ever since I first saw it in Leigh Radford's great book...and I knew what yarn I wanted to use...my handspun silk and cotton yarn.
What are you most proud of?
I knew she would look great in it, but I hoped she would like it...and she does!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I added a picot edging instead of the rolled brim called for in the pattern.
