What materials did you use? 100% cotton and Batik fabric, along with 100% cotton batting.

A traditional Hawaiian quilt is made with two solid color fabrics, but I decided to go outside the box and use Batik as the appliqu and I think it worked great.g

Love this with the batik!

Thank you so much, I have just started another Hawaiian quilt, but this time I have reversed the Batik, and have used it as the background, I will post a photo soon.

Beautiful quilt. I did a traditional one a year ago and wow, what a job! It was challenging. Love the Batik. I can see you did a lot of work.

I really love your quilt! The blue batik reminds me of ocean water, so the dolphins and sea shells are really perfect with it. Your applique is outstanding. You put in a lot of work on this, and it shows in a gorgeous quilt. Is this a pattern I could buy? I have a baby that will be born in a few months I need to make a quilt for and I'd love to make one from this pattern. Thanks!
