What was your inspiration?
I wanted to get back into crocheting but I wanted to do something different than clothing or pot holders. I want to make the raccoon for my son.
What are you most proud of?
That I finished it even if it took me a month! Challenging when you have an infant.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Crocheting the baby safe eyes in black yarn was the hardest part for me. Very hard to see the stitches! Also, triple check your count when attaching the wings, mine are off by one row and I didn't notice until I was almost done closing the bird up.
