What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you care about the size, check your gauge ;) I was a little lax about that ----thought that I had it correct, but when measuring in retrospect, realized I had the correct 7 rows per inch, but well more than 4.5 stitches/inch, which made it a bit smaller than I would have liked, but beautiful none-the-less. Just make sure to read the pattern carefully and work with attention (but that's the beauty of it ---only the lace section really needs attention ----so overall, neither mind-numbingly boring, nor a brain burner! ;)
