What are you most proud of? That I can alter a pattern that fits me!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The pattern is correct. Do not get into reading ahead. If using stitch markers in the lace, you will be borrowing a stitch in the next grouping of 16. This helps me to stay on tract, but it is a lot of manipulating of stitch markers which will slow your knitting down.
