What advice would you give someone starting this project? Knit with large needles especially if you're a big girl. I don't think I knit very tight and making this with size 5 made the shawl really small. I am size 18 and the shawl will fall off if I don't use a pin. I'm going to knit a second one with much larger needles (size 8?) and 150g of yarn. Most of all don't be discouraged that your knitting looks wrong or bad as you're working on it. The magic really happens to lace when you block it. All the shapes are pulled into place and it goes from floppy to fabulous!
