I just used a simple patchwork pattern - with 6" squares - 5 different kinds of fabrics, used 2 1/2 " dark blue strips for inner border and 3 1/2" red,white,and blue star print strips for outer border. What was your inspiration?
Our new Grandson - Born on New Year's Day!
I knew that the nursery had some blue airplanes in the theme and I had some fabric with Teddy bears - some a "litle pilots" and some reading books and then for the back, sailor Bears.
What are you most proud of?
How cute it looked once it all came together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Look around your stash and see what items will fit in your plan - then draw it out on paper and see if it all works, then...just "DO IT" and have fun in the process!
