Sorry to be so vague, but this was a paid 3 day class and I am unable to divulge all info related to the making of this cake - thank you for your understanding.
What was your inspiration?
I seen this cake class and had to go!! Kaysie Lackey, the instructor, has been on Food Network Challenges and she sketched & designed this cake herself (a little Tim Burton style).
What are you most proud of?
The whole project - it was an excellant learning experience with a great instructor! Also it traveled very well in a 3 1/2 hour car ride (the umbrella was removed for traveling).
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you have a chance to go to a class that Kaysie Lackey is teaching - GO! It was well worth the money I spent.
