What was your inspiration?
The flower block was all I needed to be inspired. This block lent itself easily to becoming a pillow. All I needed was to add a border and some free motion quilting in the flowers.
What are you most proud of?
I keep working at my free motion quilting and I think it looks pretty good and adds a lot to the texture of the flowers.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just find a beautiful premade block. There are so many gorgeous ones in the quilt shops.
