What was your inspiration?
I really want to use some of my stash, so am going scrappy on this project, meaning these aren't the only fabrics that will be used. The yellow fabric is more gold than it appears in my photo (at least on my browser). The background for this will be off white/muslin color and will be lots of different fabrics. I've admired pieced backgrounds and am using this project as a chance to try it for myself.
What are you most proud of?
Finishing one block, let alone four, and before the end of January! I have been overbooked on work and other projects and am trying to get back to sewing.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be sure to get the printed instructions, and don't worry about the details, just go ahead and start.
