Love your fabric selection!

Oh thank you. I always loved the black paisley, but it needed a special project. It's been a bit of a trick to wok from my stash only, but I'm happy with it.

Wow- Really like this! You're doing some beautiful work! Tried to answer you on DI's page but it wouldn't take. Very disappointing you couldn't get those fat quarters. If I didn't have to put it out there for the whole internet to see I'd offer to give you some of mine. Maybe help@craftsy can hook us up outside the site? What do you think?

Thanks for the offer, Newbie. But I am a fatalist. If I was supposed to have it, I would have received the one I wanted. It was just that I loved is so much. You have to promise to be sure to keep posting your blocks so I can continue to drool on my computer. Glad you like my blocks. I am thinking about doing another colorway, just because I have seen so many beauties on this site. I still love my paisley even though it's a challenge.....Keep up the good work and thanks again for the offer, my quilting friend.

Thanks so much for the offer, Newbie, but I am a fatalist. If I was supposed to have it, the order would have been filled properly. It's not like I don't have enough fabric. You must PROMISE to keep adding pix so I can drool over my computer. Thanks also for sayig you liked my block. It's a challenge with the paisley being so dark. Thinking of doing an additional colorway, as I have seen some great beauties on the site. Thank you again for the offer, my dear quilting friend.

Is that a ruffle? What a great idea if it is. Gosh, the teacher for 2012 block of the month class really, really effected my decision to take on my first big quilt. I love how she goes step by step. Very thorough. I'm looking at the picture again. Is it an optical illusion that I think I see ruffles, especially the top two? I see how , with your fabric choice, the hexagons could make it look like that. Nice soft color selection. Pretty.

hi judyjoy - for some reason I never saw this entry. It's been over a year! No it is not a ruffle, just the way the light hit it perhaps. FYI - I have finished this quilt and given to it's appreciative friend. I think there is a picture or two on my project sheet. Please check it out. And let me know how you are doing with your quilt, too. Thanks
