I was thinking about making some more tonight - I can't wait for it to be April. I want to start the next one.

Think about doing batiks! They're so much fun to work with. I've already started building a new stash and color pallette for my next project :)

Nice job! Like your use of the black with the batiks. I have been "hoarding" batiks for a while and this project seemed like the perfect place to use them for a scrappy look. Eagerly awaiting April blocks!

HI, I am having a problem getting the printed version of the monthly blocks again. I've saved it, but how do I get the printed instructions. QuiltingQueen@verizon.net thank you

These are also my favorite fabrics! Lots of movement in the blocks, really interesting.

Thank you - I really like this palette. I think if I continue quilting I'll use another set of batiks. I was shopping on fabric.com last night.

How beautiful. I am thinking of using a black print with some pinks, green, purples to pull out the colors in the base print. I've spent hours playing with the stash .....so many options, so little time!

Do it! I thought I was the weird one for doing a black background, but there are lots of folks with interesting color variations! I can't wait to see what you do. Come back and tell me if you post something :)

I luv your choice of fabrics. I must ask though....in the picture of your fabrics the is what appears to be a cutter with some yellow disks. What is that?

The yellow disks are weights with pins on the bottom of them. They stabalize the fabrics for cutting - and the rotary cutter is dangerous now that I've put a new blade on it.
