What was your inspiration?

These are prints I used for making my daughters chefs pants.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I am having trouble getting my blocks to be the correct size. Be sure to have your measurements correct.

Hi Melrose- I was just wondering if you finished your Broken Spider Web block and the lap quilt?

Well, it had to be taken apart. The back of the quilt had too many tucks in the backing, and I wasn't satisfied with it. I have to resew all the pieces back together, then will be using the right machine for sewing this time. I didn't have walking foot for my Viking. I should be starting work on it next week.

Love how you created the same block but varied the fabric placement. This block would make a wonderful quilt all by itself.
