What was your inspiration?
I posted a request on Facebook for my friends and family to see how many block of the month quilts we could make. We started with a pretty large group which dwindled down to just a few but it was fun seeing the quilt made with different fabrics and colors. We shared photos each month of our blocks and, of course, the finished quilts. My brother, who had never even used a sewing machine, made one of the finished quilts and it was beautiful. I was so proud of him.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use a variety of fabrics and colors. Also, read through the instructions for each block before starting. There were a few minor typos in the pattern.
