Materials

I used scraps from many sewing projects. My granddaughter will get this quilt for Christmas because most of the material were scraps from her blouses! She declared this her quilt when I finished the Jan. blocks. Each month it has been when are you going to be finished with my quilt. At 7 yrs old it is a hard concept Block of the Month.

I have a special 7 year old granddaughter, too! They sure have a way of directing your actions. (I didn't want to say 'bossy'.) It's a beautiful quilt. I'm sure it will be a life-long memory for that little girl.

Thank you all for the nice comments!! I learned so much doing this quilt. I have a small machine Brother CS770 and I actually quilted all the blocks but one on the machine!! I did stitch in the ditch, echo and free motion. One block I actually hand quilted because it has a white back ground and I was using black thread. I just didn't want to change the thread.
