Instructions

I had to un-sew at least one section for each block during the sewing-it-up part, and that's a rarity for me.
I eventually found a way to make these blocks so that the fabric scraps were definitely going to cover the next section (plus a 1/4" allowance)...

quilting cotton scraps... smaller to medium-large pieces

What was your inspiration?

Really, this block was inspired by Amy Gibson's enthusiasm. I nearly didn't finish these because they looked so daunting on the paper instructions. Her video made it seem more do-able.

What are you most proud of?

Finishing the final squares!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be ready to patiently put these foundation paper pieces together!

I think I may finally have used up all of the brown/aqua-swirls background with this one. I was glad to be able to use it for the background of my first ever flying geese block. :D
