I really had a difficult time understanding the cutting instructions. I ended up looking at the layout and deciding whether I needed a print or background L shaped wedge and the pie wedge,

I had some issues also and I have been quilting for 30 years +. I don't think I will ever this pattern again.

I decided to do a latte quilt. That is tone on tone beige with brown between it for my niece. I like the look very much. You did a great job. Someone said that the template was not sized and suppose to be measured but I winged it myself.
