Sorry for your loss. I was divorced after 25 years, then remarried 13-1/2 years ago after being alone for over 10 years. I lucked out the second time... My son and his family are still in Erie, a daughter in CA and a daughter in FL .I just started quilting with this course and I am loving it. My daughter from CA was here (she has been quilting for about 5 years, took classes when they lived in Australia ) and we each made a table runner, so that was my first complete project. I am really proud of how it turned out. My husband had bought me an embroidery machine so I can use them both to make some pretty nice quilting projects.
I think Erie is a great place to raise a family. I raised 4 kids here and three of them are still here. One in Toledo. I lost my husband 7 years ago today.
Sad day for me! Have you been quilting long? I am only on my second one.
I like the course, it is very well done and I look forward to learning all the techniques.
Actually lived in Lawrence Park, then at about 14 moved to Edinboro, graduated and got married, moved to NY state, then back to Waterford to raise my 3 children. Remarried in l998 and lived in NY until 2002 then to Ohio...been around, but still call Erie area home. Husband from there also.
I like your blocks, I was going to do a wreath, but my daughter in California is
making a quilt also, and she is using the wreath, so I thought I would go with
the Christmas tree...
