What was your inspiration?
Amy Gibson, our instructor for the Block of the Month 2012 was ALWAYS my inspiration! She made me feel like I could conquer ALL of the techniques, even though looking at the blocks for the first time was SUPREMELY intimidating!
What are you most proud of?
Turning out a beautiful, well-made quilt with ten BRAND NEW (to me, at least) techniques, each with two different applications! I only started quilting fifteen months ago, yet I have learned more in a year with the BOM course than I ever anticipated!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Believe in yourself, believe in Amy, and KNOW that you, too, can create a beautiful quilt top, even while expanding your quilting knowledge and ability to proportions beyond your expectations!
