What was your inspiration?
The block of the month course has finally given me the courage to begin sewing a quilt. I have been collecting vintage fabrics/threads from local second hand shops or online bidding auctions for a couple of years but felt afraid to use them in case my projects didn't work. This online course has has been so simple and easy to understand i've felt inspired to make something
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of myself for finally using the tools and materials which have been in my cupboard and i had fun doing this.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Try the same project in different colours to see the contrasts and effects different fabric have together. Re-cycle fabrics as i do this way if it doesn't turn out right you haven't spent a fortune but you can correct it next time
