The 2012 BOM was my first quilt class, also! The Craftsy videos were very helpful to me. I learned a lot, and enjoyed everything about it! The only "down side" (LoL) is that I have become addicted to Craftsy classes! There are so many quilts I want to make! Haha!

Thank you! The cats are from fat quarters that were an impulse buy. This was the first block that I used them in, and they have been making regular appearances ever since! :) I think they are reminding me to keep this learning process fun!

Thanks! I don't have enough of the kitty fabric for a whole quilt. This course has introduced me to so many fun blocks that I do find myself wanting to make whole quilts with my favorites.... I'm having a lot of fun and learning a lot!

Lol! I have been re-visiting my favorites, also.... trying to get inspiration for doing my June blocks! I am very excited about both of the June blocks that we get to do! They look like a lot of fun, too!

The puzzle block was very fun for me! I actually pieced a whole top (lap-sized) of it, This class challenges me in so many ways, and I am loving it. Learning SO much! I am still puzzling about the best way to get a picture of the quilt top, but I will be posting a photo at some point!

Love this block! Those cats stay cool even upside down--perfectly cat-like. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you, TrishaG! I had to think a bit to get the kitties positioned the way I wanted... since I don't know how the blocks will be positioned in my final quilt I thought I's try to make sure that some kitt

oops... I was saying that I wanted to have the cats facing all directions so that some would be right-side-up no matter what the final placement of the block. Thank you for your compliment!

Love this cat fabric - makes a very striking block. I messed my chunky chevron up so need to make another!

The chunky chevron was not my favorite to make, but I like the finished result. I also did not enjoy the hexagons, although I was very grateful for the experience... it gives me a whole new level of appreciation for what my great-grandma went through making an entire "Flowwer Garden" quilt. Your hexi blocks are very nice, I just took a look! I am enjoying this course very much!

Thank You!! For me, it seemed easier to tackle this project with just the three colors. I still don't feel confident in pairing a lot of colors together. The black, white and red theme took some of the pressure off, so I am really having a lot of fun with this class!
