What materials did you use? BOHO Fat Quarter Pack & Kona White

LadyKO -- I think the "scant 1/4 inch" has reared it's ugly head again! Why "they" don't just design all patterns with 1/4' exactly is so annoying. In some cases it doesn't matter so much, but for highly matched things, it's a priority, I finally used duct tape to make a guide on my machine and measured a smidge less than a quarter inch from my needle point until I got it right. It did make a big difference. My plan is to adjust any short blocks with a frame of the background or something suitable. Depends on how it is put together at the end. I'd hold onto the ones that are "off a little" and work it out at the end.

oops, see below comment! I mean blue painter's tape, not duct tape. The duct tape is for my mouth when I start screaming in frustration

Your fabric mix is lovely and your work is great. Don't be discouraged

Thanks Ladies! The fabric selection is the same fat quarter pack that instructor Amy Gibson is using. I think when all my blocks are made at the end of the BOM class, I will square off all the blocks to 12.25 or 12 inch blocks. I'm sure I'll have some more blocks that don't square up perfectly so I don't want to drive myself too crazy. ;)
