What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Pay close attention to your spacing as you work the spiral outward. My spacing got a little wonky the further I got away from the center.

Looks good. I was planning to do blocks 1,2,&3 first,when I get started.

I put the block together in a different layout than is shown on the class sample, so I ended up quilting them in a different order so I could do the center blocks first.
