What was your inspiration?
When Petite Purls was just a vision in my mind, I spent a lot of time thinking about designers that inspired me. One of the first designers to come to mind was Debbie Bliss, the Queen of children's knitwear designs. Her designs are always clean, classic and sweet, and the designs are timeless. My dress, Bliss, named after Debbie, is a top-down pattern with a cabled bodice, simple skirt, and sweet texture added at the hem. I guess you could call this my homage to Debbie.
