Instructions
My pattern is still in the beta stage or is being created as I make this initial Dino quilt for my toddler grandson. It will have a narrow border and then a row of tiny dinos, with a final border to make it about the size of a twin bed. What was your inspiration?
Inspired by the cleverness of the fabric design of whimsical dinosaurs. I wanted to make a quilt for my 3 year old grandson and finally located this great fabric at equilter.com the 'Dino' collection by The Henley Studio for Makower UK.
What are you most proud of?
This is the first time I have designed the entire quilt. The fabric lends itself to a simple design to show off the colorful action of the dinos so it is relatively easy to do. The quilt is going together very easily. The quilt top will be completed in about 10 days, fast for me as I just grab time here and there.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go for it!
