I drafted this pattern using the free tutorial I have linked to from Foundations Revealed.com. The design was a collaboration with the client.Difficulty:

Materials
The corset is made from a combination of patent leather bonded to corsetry coutil and black spot broche coutil.
What was your inspiration?
This is the first time I have drafted and made a corset to a client's requirements. My brief was to create something very wearable that would co-ordinate with a variety of outfits but without being too ordinary.
What are you most proud of?
I made this using my client's measurements and remote fitting. This was a first for me and I am pleased the proportions and fit worked.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make as many mock-ups as you need to get the shape working on the body. Fit is the most important thing to get right.
