Materials
The entire project used 6 yards of the darker cotton and 2.5 yards of the lighter cotton. (Pants aren't shown in the picture) I used 4 buttons, about 6 yards of yellow bias tape, and 5 yards of twill tape. The pants, of course, required a zipper.
What was your inspiration?
My group was needing outfits made for an event that we're going to host, so I stepped up and took on the challenge.
What are you most proud of?
Finishing the six of the outfits under the deadline that I set for myself. I realize now that I probably should have a picture of the back of the jacket, as there are four panel pieces that the back is comprised of.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and try not to sew at 2 in the morning. Bad things tend to happen, like sewing a panel on backwards.
