What was your inspiration?
I needed a skirt with a waistband that sat directly on my waist. The blouse sits above the hips, and I wanted coverage there.
What are you most proud of?
When paired with a cloak and high-heeled boots, the skirt was a perfect costume component for a witch/vampire.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Give yourself lots of room to spread out - the floor or a very large table. This skirt requires 4 1/2 yards of fabric!
