What was your inspiration?
My friend Amy was my inspiration for this pouch. She is what blossomed my obsession with all things zebra print, which then bloomed into a love for all things black white and red. This is an awesome pouch. It measures 3.5"X5.5" which is perfect for any Smart phone, or regular sized pair of sunglasses. The satin lining is super soft so it protects your glasses or phone from chips and scrapes.
What are you most proud of?
That this goes great with my new Zebra print with Red Slouchy Beanie listed in my shop. Also the lining is perfect. I sold one of these to a good friend of mine, she absolutely loves it and uses it everyday for her phone. I couldn't be more proud!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Count your stitches and be careful, there is one side that has a stripe that is one stitch larger than the others but if done right you can't even tell. Also when you sew in the liner, you have to make sure that you don't sew it into the drawstring otherwise it won't close, so it is tricky when finishing off.
