What was your inspiration?

I wanted to make the sassy librarian blouse but I am a plus size and the pattern with the class wasn't big enough. I saw this pattern and liked the shape of it. As well as being a plus size I am an apple shape and the design of this blouse gives the illusion of having a waist! Although I wasn't able to make the sassy librarian blouse I did find some really good tips in the class especially about making the collar and really enjoyed the class.

What are you most proud of?

Getting the collar right first time!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The collar has a collar stand so it probably isn't a suitable pattern for a complete beginner.
