What was your inspiration?
New Zealand is a rugby mad country so the black and white is our national colours. I used the intarsia technique to knit in the white silver fern and the NZ for New Zealand.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud to say that two of the winning World Cup champions' babies proudly wear these outfits with their fathers name knitted on the backs.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Basically it is a straight forward pattern but I have personalised it for New Zealand. It could also be done in other colours for other nations.
