What was your inspiration?
I did not have a brief for this cake and not knowing the recipients I played it safe by using only black and white.
What are you most proud of?
Creating an elegant cake and obtaining a good balance of black and white
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Keep the components separated when creating them. Everything is edible on this cake except for the ring. The ring box needs to be made a head of time to allow it to dry.
