I used 6 " squares - of the Olivia- the -Pig fabric - then took 3 different black & white fabrics cut them into 2 1/4 " strips and sewed them together and then cut them into 6 " squares. cotton fabrics, comfy fleece/minky-like fabric for back, polyester batting, muslin for name tag, embroidery thread, black & white polyester threads, black quilt binding, sewing supplies & tools.
What was your inspiration?
My niece, she is turning one year old soon, and her mother is using Olivia-the-Pig for her nursery. I found some material on line and made this quilt for her upcoming first birthday.
What are you most proud of?
How well the prairie points came out and how well the quilt went together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be sure to cut the fabrics using a rotary cutter and sew using a 1/4" seam.
