InstructionsPreheat oven to 425. Mix together one cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Add 4 to 5 cups berries and stir gently until coated. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Dot with small pieces of butter. Cover with second pie crust, flute edges, and cut three or four slits in the top crust. Bake about 35 minutes or until golden brown.

What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make a blackberry pie like my aunt used to make. I didn't have enough black berries so I added some frozen blueberries. It was delicious.
What are you most proud of?
It tastes wonderful and reminds me of my aunt baking pies when I was a little girl.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Learn to make your own crust. It is worth your time because it tastes so much better than store bought.
