What was your inspiration?
My sister asked me to make her cake for her 40th birthday party.
What are you most proud of?
Just happy I got this one done in time. I had to travel to another city and decorate them there - it was very last minute getting them finished so I would have preferred a bit more time to make them perfect. I'm happy with the little mini present decorations and the sparkly 40!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's pretty simply to execute - I didn't have a big enough cake stand so we just used whatever we could find for the display - a couple of cake boards with some acrylic stands in between.
