Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Online class - Advanced Fondant Technique Class, Homemade fondant, Buttercream Icing, Piping bag, Cutters
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Definately mix your fondant with some tylose or use gumpaste so that the bow holds its form faster/better also you will have less breakage. I didnt wait until the icing crusted over on the cake before adding the lines - I wouldve had a much smoother cake had I waited. I wanted to put some pearls and other items under the lid but I ran out of time making it.
