InstructionsThe bottom cake is buttercream covered.
The lid is cake also - covered in fondant.
I made the "tissue paper", bow, dots and lines from homemade fondant.
The dotted boarder is piped colored icing.

What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make something small but different for my sisters B-Day. So here was here "gift"
What are you most proud of?
My sister loved it! The tissue paper and bow turned out great.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Definately mix your fondant with some tylose or use gumpaste so that the bow holds its form faster/better also you will have less breakage.
I didnt wait until the icing crusted over on the cake before adding the lines - I wouldve had a much smoother cake had I waited. I wanted to put some pearls and other items under the lid but I ran out of time making it.
