I had the birds nestled in branches for a few years.
What was your inspiration?
I bought that fabric a few years ago. Watching the Craftsy courses and the excellent instructors gave me the boost to get my first quilt started.
I added to the quilt from the Joann's picture and made different color choices on the cornerstones and sashing.
What are you most proud of?
I finished my first quilt top.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Even though I "squared up" it's still a bit off. Square up not only the blocks, but after adding the cornerstones to the sashing.
