What was your inspiration?
I had so many twigs and branches in my yard that I hated to waste. My town recyles our yard waste but I wanted to do something fun with it. My gutters seem to be filled with bird nests each year that get washed away with heavy rain storms. It always makes me so sad. So hopefully this year a bird family will enjoy their new home.
What are you most proud of?
Making use of fallen twigs and branches. Also, when visiting my Sister in Eastern Texas I brought back the beautiful Spanish moss from her trees. We don't have such a thing in Kansas.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
After breaking a pair of small pruning shears I moved up to long handled bigger pruning shears for cutting branches for this project.
