What materials did you use? I used some of my own hand dyed fabrics as well as a few Batiks.

What are you most proud of? Those really sharp points! I was also glad that my hand dyed fabric worked so well in the project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get the Foundation paper that Carol recommends at the start. I didn't have any and had used my regular printer paper and as she predicted had trouble getting the paper to come off easily.

Very pretty and well done.

Thank yo Carol the one I made after this one is better used the same fabrics but the green is the way it is supossed to be. I realised after I had my husband take the picture that it didn't meet up properly, just a little short, the second is perfect I will be turning them into coasters.

I love your Mariners Compass! My husband is looking forward to my creating a Mariners Compass wall quilt. So my next major project will be one of those. But I will follow the craftsy course outline first in case there are any great tips that I need to know.
