What was your inspiration?

I loved the beautiful designs from Urban Threads and wanted to use them on a functional/home decor item. The three-design panel works well with my three hearts design (Hearts Cushion project) on the two overdyed leather chairs.

What are you most proud of?

The embroidery design stitched out very well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make the outer cover slightly smaller the the cushion inner. Use a good quality fabric and cushion inner (duck down works best) to showcase your hard work.

The designs by Urban Threads stich out differently from the usual embroidery designs and do have handmade look. I wish I had time for hand embroidery. I use a Bernina sewing machine with an embroidery module. Glad you like it.

Beautiful work! No dogs allowed on that chair! Did you do this by hand or machine? It looks like hand work and is very impressive. I'm sure you get lots of comments.
