Plants are... I have 2 Hakonechloa Golden Japanese grass, 2 Japanese painted ferns, Spring Sedge "The Beatles" (I've had to rip some of this out... it's really spreads", Irish Moss, Northern Maidenhair fern, 1 Heurcha, some Ajuga (that spread really fast so I replaced it with a small hosta, and I can't remember the name of the plant that's on the far left in the picture, sorry. And yes, about 20 of the landscape bricks. Thanks for asking! Thanks for the compliment!

is the glass ball a pump and where did you get it?

03/21/2015 Flag

Glass ball is not a pump. It's just a big hollow ceramic ball I found in a garden center. It has a big opening in the bottom and hubby drilled a small hole in the top. The pump is at the bottom of the bird bath and has a plastic tube that runs from the pump up through the birdbath, through the ceramic ball and sticks up about a quarter of an inch at the top for the water to pump out.

love it. the side of my house where there is no window just looks blah. this would lift the eye and make the first sight of the house from the road look so much prettier.

That would be perfect! This is the the backside of my garage and looked blah, nothing would grow there either. I love this little spot. I have a bench out near here and sit and have my morning coffee in the summer there.
