What materials did you use?
Home decorating fabric, quilt batting, cotton for lining.
Wow 2strings! I'd love to attend your Tuesday night sewing group. I'll keep you in mind if I make a trip to Lincoln for a sewing seminar. Keep your eyes open for an opportunity for me. Likewise, if you get to my rural area in Wisconsin (60 miles west of Green Bay), please bring your bags and settle in for a stay at our old Victorian. Goggle: 1893victorianfarmhouse---I have a 800 sq. ft. studio where we can play all day long, and order out pizza.
Omigosh! An actual studio would be my dream. I'm squished into a little extra bedroom with hardly an inch to move. The extra space would be wonderful, but I likely wouldn't be any more productive.
Oh wow, beautiful. I love the colours and detail. Fabuluous.
Thank you! It's my big, roomy library bag, and I use it a lot!
Do you teach sewing classes? I love this bag and the fabric you used. Do you have a pattern for this?
Oh, thank you! I don't have a pattern for this one. It was one of those design as you go projects that I made before I began pattern making. The fabric is a lightweight upholstery fabric that I picked up at Joanns several years ago. I teach sewing and quilting to some of my friends, but I don't teach actual classes.
Oh wow, this is just beautiful, I looked at your other projects too and you have done some amazing things - I love your fabric choices. K x
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words.
