What was your inspiration?
I had already sewn a black and white one and my daughter asked if i would make this for her friend whose baby is due soon.
What are you most proud of?
that it turned out so well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The simplicity pattern has instructions for double cotton with wadding between but i used fleece backing and poly cotton patches. I did not put any wadding in because the fleece is thick, soft and warm. i think this made it quicker to make and easier.
