What advice would you give someone starting this project? In this case, since I made this for my five-year-old grandson, I sized down the squares and sashing.

Thanks! The reason for the blue corner squares, and the downsizing of the squares and sashing, is because I bought the fabric a year ago without a purpose for it. There wasn't enough for a full-sized pattern, so I downsized the squares and decided to put the blue corners in because I was one square short for the total of green squares. Then when I decided on the orange corner sashing squares, I was delighted with how they indeed "popped" out of the quilt. Still have two more full-sized quilts to make for my Canadian contngent of grandkids before I take them up to them!

...because they live in British Columbia, and I live in Utah, 1000 miles away!
